ATMA ANNUAL CONVENTION IN NEW DELHI, INDIA ON FEBRUARY 7, 2018

The first ever Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association’s (ATMA) annual convention with the theme ‘Tyre Industry-Taking India to the World’ will be held in New Delhi, India on February 7, 2018.

Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu will be the Chief Guest for the convention. He will release the annual report of ATMA during the event. NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant will be the Guest of Honour and will distribute the Excellence Awards. Globally renowned tyre expert David Shaw of Tire Industry Research, UK will make a presentation at the convention.

The ATMA Annual convention is a unique platform for automotive and tyre industry leaders, policymakers, government officials, thought leaders and consultants.
The event assumes significance as the tyre industry in India is on the cusp of a significant growth. As the private investment cycle in India is yet to be revived, the tyre industry in the country had invested over $ seven billion in recent years.

ATMA is the most active and well known national industry body in India. It represents eleven large tyre companies in the country accounting for over 90% of tyre production.
