ARLANXEO CELEBRATES 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF KELTAN

Synthetic rubber company ARLANXEO has celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Keltan business. Keltan is one of the globally leading Ethylene propylene diene rubber grades (EPDM) brands and part of the company’s High-Performance Elastomer (HPE) business unit. ARLANXEO has driven the development of EPDM over the past half-century and is committed to further driving sustainable innovation for EPDM products.

ARLANXEO supports the China government’s agenda to reduce carbon footprint and drive sustainable development with the development and production of its EPDM products. The company’s Changzhou EPDM plant applies Keltan ACEcatalyst technology, which requires less energy and minimises catalyst residues. The company also introduced Keltan Eco, a series of bio-based EPDM with reduced dependence on energy and scarce resources.

Last year, ARLANXEO opened a state-of-the-art Rubber Technology Centre (RTC) in Changzhou, which is also one of the company’s global rubber test centres, further strengthening its local footprint and ensuring proximity to its partners and customers to develop solutions that better meet local market needs.
