COOPER’S EVOLUTION H/T WINS NEW PRODUCT AWARD AT SEMA

Cooper Tire’s newest highway tyre for crossover vehicle (CUV), sport utility vehicle (SUV) and pickup truck drivers has been named a New Product Award winner in the tyre and related product category at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.

The new product awards competition considered nearly 3,000 products in 16 categories. The Evolution H/T captured the judges’ attention for its superior innovation, technical achievement, quality and workmanship, consumer appeal and marketability, said the company.

“The Evolution H/T is a tyre that’s made to perform, offering the perfect combination of a comfortable ride, responsive handling and all-season traction. As the first tyre launched from our new Evolution product line, it’s leading the way in showcasing what Evolution has to offer,” said Scott Jamieson, Cooper’s Director of Product Management.

The Evolution H/T, an all-season highway tyre available in 28 popular sizes, offers quality performance, superior handling and a comfortable ride. Among the tyre’s features is Cooper’s proprietary 3D Micro-GaugeTM siping to help maintain wet traction and stability as well as a silica compound to improve grip and handling in both wet and dry conditions and to displace heat to keep the tire cooler. The silica compound also helps shorten braking distance and improve fuel efficiency.

The Evolution H/T is quiet, with tread elements uniquely positioned to minimise tyre noise, and its tread profile provides even wear and long tread life. The tyre also boasts strong hydroplane resistance due to wide water channels that efficiently evacuate water from the tread area and a 60,000-mile warranty.
