HANKOOK TO PRESENT ‘TYRE TECHNOLOGIES OF TOMORROW’ AT IAA 2017

Hankook Tyre will be exhibiting tyre technologies of tomorrow in Hall 8, Booth C26 at the IAA 2017 from September 12 to 24, 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany.  Alongside design ideas for the mobility concepts of the future, the focus will be on innovations in premium original fitment tyres and the current winter tyre line-up.

“The IAA is the ideal platform for current developments and progress in the automotive sector. For Hankook, it is the best opportunity to present the technical highlights of global R&D activities and demonstrate the increasing development of the company,” said Ho-Youl Pae, COO for Europe, Hankook Tyre.

Once again, the latest concept tyres Flexup, Shiftrac and Autobine – created in cooperation with design students at the University of Cincinnati – will be on display. Besides, the presentation of a new summer product, the latest line-up in winter tyres will be on show. This includes the eco-friendly high-performance winter tyre series i*cept which has been extended by several sizes; this winter tyres series has been developed using a special silica compound for central and western European conditions.
