GOODYEAR NAMES MAUREEN THUNE AS CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Maureen Thune has been appointed as chief procurement officer at Goodyear Rubber and Tire.

Thune, who has recently served as vice president of internal audit at Goodyear, is now responsible for sourcing and procurement of all raw materials, equipment, supplies and services across the company globally.

She has succeeded Mark Purtilar who is retiring from the company.

Thune has served in a variety of financial leadership roles with Goodyear since 2009. Prior to Goodyear, she was chief financial officer of CORT Furniture Rental. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University.
