GOODYEAR RANKS 184TH ON FORBES’S FORTUNE 500 LIST

For the 63rd  consecutive year, Goodyear Tire has been ranked among 500 largest companies in the United States by Forbes magazine.

Based on 2016 sales of $15.2 billion, the tyre company  is the 184th largest business in the country. It is ranked fourth in the magazine’s Motor Vehicles and Parts category.

Compiled since 1955, the “Fortune 500” ranks U.S. companies by sales. Companies are ranked by total revenues for their respective fiscal years. Included in the survey are companies that are incorporated and operate in the U.S. and file financial statements with a government agency. This year, a company had to post sales of $5.14 billion to make the list.
