BKT TYRES TO GO FOR ELMA WOOD FORESTRY FAIR

BKT and its partner Gripen Wheels are taking their products to Elma Wood, the four-yearly international trade fair for the forest industry. The June 7-10, 2017 event in the Bratteborgs Gård forests, south of Jönköping, Sweden, is a global gathering of forestry operators.

BKT and Gripen Wheels will showcase the top tyres for forestry applications such as Forestech and TR 678 along with the tyres Flotation 648 for transport operations and W 207 for ATV vehicles.

At the Elmia Wood trade fair, BKT and Gripen Wheels are going to display Forestech in two sizes: 710/45 – 26.5 and 750/55 – 26.5. Forestech is a steel-belted tyre, especially designed for forwarders. It provides outstanding traction even in heavy-duty service in addition to excellent puncture resistance and an extended product life-cycle.

Exhibited in sizes 700/55 – 34 and 600/65 – 34, the tyre TR 678 is particularly suitable for forestry tractors. Its main features are remarkable traction and self-cleaning properties along with high load capacity and excellent cut-and-chip resistance.

Extraordinary flotation on the terrain is the specialty of Flotation 648 showcased in size 600/55 – 22.5. The great plus of this tyre is its ability to carry heavy loads, e.g. trunks, at low inflation pressure. This ensures less soil compaction and protects the soil.

Finally, W 207 will be on display for the ATV world in sizes AT 25 X 8 – 12 and AT 25 X 10 – 12.  This tire offers maximum traction even on earthy terrain.
