To strengthen the innovation ability of the industry, China Rubber Industry Association (“CRIA”) carried out the identification of the technology center of the industry and the contracted inspection and test center of CRIA in 2016.

By the end of 2016, CRIA has identified 5 technology centers in the rubber products field of the  industry, namely the technology centers of these enterprises: Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd., Qingdao Hilywill Advanced Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Liaoning Tieling Rubber Industry Research and Design Institute, Dalian Dianfeng Group Co., Ltd., and Anhui Weiwei Rubber Parts (Group) Co., Ltd., respectively specializing in transportation equipment anti-vibration & noise reduction materials, auto rubber sealing products, rubber sealing products, engineering rubber products and auto rubber anti-vibration products; 2 technology centers in the shoes file of the industry, namely Jihua 3517 and Jihua 3537, respectively identified as the Shoe Materials and Process Technology Center and Shoemaking Technology Center of the industry. 

Furthermore, EVE Rubber Institute, Bekaert (China), Shandong Meichen Science & Technology Co., Ltd., and CATARC Yancheng Automotive Proving Ground Ltd. were identified as the contracted inspection and test centers of CRIA, specializing in rubber raw materials, framework materials for rubber tires (steel cord and wire products), rubber hoses and rubber anti-vibration products for auto, and indoor and outdoor inspection of test of tires.
