With regard to tire access, on April 13, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published the first batch of 23 tire enterprises meeting the Tire Industry Access Conditions; and there are 27 tire enterprises filing an access application in the second batch.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Raw Materials Department organized experts to carry out on-the-spot inspection of 11 enterprises thereinto in December. With regard to self-discipline in the industry, to accelerate the optimization and upgrading, safe production, energy conservation and emission reduction of the carbon black industry, on December 6, CRIA released the Technical Access Regulations in Carbon Black Industry which will be implemented on January 1, 2017. 

With regard to research, development and innovation, Central Asia Tire Testing Ground, the first professional tire testing ground in China, was formally open and operated on October 18, fulfilling the dream of several generations of rubber people, which will provide strong support for Chinese tires to innovate the research and development and step into the matching market.
