Truck, Bus Tire Anti-Dumping Determination Postponed
Time: June 3rd 2016 Copy editor: Tyrefull
Once again, the U.S. Department of Commerce has postponed its preliminary anti-dumping duty determination on truck and bus tires imported from China.
In a June 2 Federal Register notice, the Commerce Department announced it will move the preliminary ruling back 50 days to Aug. 26. The Commerce Department originally scheduled the determination to be issued 140 days after the February initiation into the truck and bus tire investigation, but that determination was pushed back as well.
Due to the preliminary determination being postponed, the final determination of the investigations will shift back to Dec. 11.
The USW filed for a petition for relief against Chinese-made truck and bus tires on Jan. 29, 2016.
