Hankook to Showcase New Truck, Bus Tires at MATS

Hankook Tire America Corp. will showcase two new tires – the DH07 drive position/pickup and delivery tire and the TH22 low platform trailer tire – at the 2016 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., March 31-April 2.

The DH07 is designed for medium and long haul applications and incorporates a wider three-channel zigzag groove tread pattern to self clean and prevent stone drilling, Hankook said.

The tire’s belt structure has also been improved for reduced heat generation and an improved bead design offers improved retreadability, the tiremaker adds.  The DH07 is available in three 19.5-inch sizes: 225/70R19.5, 245/70R19.5 and 265/70R19.5.

The TH22 features a chip and cut compound for better durability and incorporates a unique belt structure to minimize deformation for lower rolling resistance, Hankook said.

The tire’s enlarged carcass profile, which includes a reinforced belt cord, also improves durability and a reinforced bead structure enhances load performance, the tiremaker adds. The TH22 is available in four 17.5-inch and 22.5-inch sizes: 215/75R17.5, 235/75R17.5, 245/70R17.5 and 255/70R22.5.
