Michelin Launches New SmartWay-verified Retread

Michelin North America Inc. has launched the SmartWay-verified Michelin X Multi Energy D Pre-Mold retread for regional and superregional applications.

Michelin said the retread is guaranteed for a second retread when retreaded on a Michelin casing and comes with inter-locking Matrix Siping for better traction and even wear.

The retread also has a dual energy compound for better removal mileage and low internal casing temperatures for low rolling resistance and extended casing life, the company said.

The X Multi Energy D Pre-Mold retread is available in 220, 230 and 240 tread widths, all with 21/32-inch tread depth.
