Yokohama, KaBOOM! Partner Again at LPGA Classic

Yokohama Tire Corp. will partner with KaBOOM!, a children’s nonprofit organization, for a second time during the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic in Prattville, Ala.

At the tournament KaBOOM! will have a kid-friendly booth next to the Yokohama booth that includes an Imagination Playground with large building blocks for children to play with. The organization will also have a “Text to Donate” program where visitors can donate $10 by texting PLAY to 20222.

Yokohama signed a multi-year, multichannel partnership with KaBOOM! That also establishes the organization as the charity recipient of the golf tournament, the tiremaker said.

All proceeds from tournament will go to projects such as playground builds to help provide children with play opportunities so they can grow into successful adults.

The Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic will take place in Prattville, Ala., on Aug. 27-31.
