Bridgestone Executives Switching Posts

A pair of Bridgestone Corp. executives are swapping jobs, effective Aug. 1.

Kazuhisa Nishigai will take over as chief technology officer, replacing Narumi Zaitsu.

Zaitsu, in turn, will take over leadership of Bridgestone’s Japan tire operations.

Two roles Nishigai won’t lose in the move are his positions as COO and vice-chairman of Bridgestone Olympic organizing committee.
