6-million High-performance Tire Project of Triangle Group to be Put into Production

According to news from the Experience-share Meeting for Launching Projects on Replacing Old Growth Drivers with New Ones in Shandong Province held at the end of 2018, Triangle Group would complete its phase II of high-performance passenger car tire transformation and upgrading project at the end of this year and then it would newly increase the production capacity of 6 million high-performance passenger car tires.

The project, with total investment of up to 6.7 Billion Yuan, is to build an intelligent tire production base, consisting of the production lines manufacturing 10 million semi-steel tires, 2 million all-steel tires and 100 thousand aviation tires per year as well as the supporting automobile tire testing ground. Its manufacturing technique is designed by experts from Korea and Finland. 

The facilities, intelligent manufacturing level and integrated information level all reach the international advanced standards. It is a practical application of the “Internet Plus” model on tire industry, and the labor is declined by 80% than that in the traditional workshop.
