Suspect Arrested for San Elizario Tire Shop Burglary

El Paso County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 19-year-old male for allegedly burglarizing El Manny Tire Shop late Wednesday night in San Elizario, Texas, the El Paso Times reported.

The tire shop owner reported a burglary in progress after he passed his shop around 10:30 p.m. and saw a broken shop window and a car on the property with tires inside the car’s open trunk, officials said.

Deputies arrested the suspect when they arrived at the tire shop spotted the suspect wearing clothes covered with tire reside and following him admitting he was the owner of the car.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of burglary and bond was set at $10,000.
