Federated Auto Parts and its members and suppliers raised a record-setting summer donation

Federated Auto Parts and its members and suppliers raised a record-setting summer donation of $200,000 for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Donations were raised at the Federated Toys for Tots auction, hosted after the awards dinner at the Federated national meeting. Items auctioned off included a “Get Dirty with Kenny” dirt track racing weekend, a personal appearance by Kenny Schrader and several Federated Auto Parts 400 activities such as driving the pace car, waving the green flag or serving as the starter of the Federated 400.

"Although we raised quite a bit of money for Toys for Tots already, our members are not stopping there,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “Many of them have already started their local Toys for Tots campaigns or have made collecting toys and donations a year-round charitable activity. Due to their kindness, we are looking forward to making another donation to the campaign in December.”
