Rasey Resigns From Position at BKT

Shawn Rasey resigned as president of BKT Tires, Inc., the subsidiary of Balkrishna Industries responsible for OTR tires in North America.

Rasey joined BKT in July 2014 and was responsible for the company’s OTR market in North America.

BKT’s Brentwood, Tenn., offices will continue to develop the tiremaker’s heavy construction and mining tire presence in North America under the leadership of Michael Aguon, associate vice president, according to BKT.

Aguon has several years of OTR tire experience, previously working with both Bridgestone Americas and Alliance Tire Americas. He has a bachelor’s in accounting and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Aguon will report to Minoo Mehta, vice president of ag sales, based in BKT’s Akron, Ohio, offices.
