Hercules Rolls Out UHP Tire

Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. has introduced a new all-season UHP tire, the Raptis R-T5.HercRaptisRT5 The 500 AA A UTQG-rated tire is designed to deliver top of the line traction, control and longer wear, Hercules said.

The Raptis R-T5 features a high grade silica tread compound and  Hercules EvacuTrack grooves for wet traction as well as 3D UltraWave siping and an asymmetric tread design for control and handling, the tiremaker noted. A CoolCourse temperature control system helps optimize the tire’s performance and enhance its life.

The Raptis R-T5 is available in 38-W rated sizes from 17 to 20 inch wheel diameter and offers a 45,000 mile limited warranty, road hazard protection and a 30-day Trust Our ride test-drive program. The tire is available starting in July.
