TIA Names Tropicana Host Hotel for GTE

The Tire Industry Association has selected the Tropicana Las Vegas as host hotel for the 2015 Global Tire Expo – Powered by TIA (GTE).

"This is not the Tropicana that many people might remember. The hotel provides excellent value for one of the newest hotel rooms on the strip. Plus, its proximity to Las Vegas Convention Center and airport make it extremely convenient,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president.

The hotel recently underwent a $200 million renovation that included a redesign of its rooms, opening of new restaurants and addition of a spa and fitness center.

Room rates are as follows for Club Deluxe Rooms:
Saturday, October 31: $158.99
Sunday – Thursday, November 1-5: $116.99
Friday – Saturday, November 6-7: $158.99

Costs include a waived resort fee. GTE takes placed Nov. 3 – Nov. 6 during the SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

TIA will host pre-show events Nov. 2 at the Tropicana.
