Yokohama Kicks Off Ride and Drive Tour for Dealers

Yokohama Tire Corp. launched its annual Ride and Drive Dealer Training Program in Houston this week and will visit 10 U.S. markets within the next five months, according to the tiremaker.

The Ride and Drive Dealer Training Program is designed to educate Yokohama dealers throughout the country about its tire line-up.

"Yokohama firmly believes that in order to sell our tires with confidence, our dealers need to understand why they are the smart choice for consumers,” said Alan Holtschneider, Yokohama Tire Corp. director, marketing. “This program is a great way to interact with our dealer network while keeping them informed.”

At the 2015 Ride and Drive Dealer Training Program, dealers are able to test drive the 2015 Mustang equipped with Yokohama’s Advan Sport A/S, Avid ENVigor, S.drive and Advan Neova AD08R tires on specially-designed courses.

The training program will stop at the following cities:

• April 27-30 – Houston

• May 12-15 – Salem/Roanoke, Va.

• May 19-20 – Milwaukee

• May 27-29 – Chicago

• June 9-11 – Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

• June 16-18 – Seekonk, Mass.

• June 30-July 2 – Lee, N.H.

• July 28-31 – St. Louis

• Aug. 25-28 – Denver

• Sept. 22-24 – Pleasanton, Calif.
