Nankang Tire's Zhangjiagang factory to stop production for one week

On August 20, Nankang (Zhangjiagang) Rubber Co., LTD. announced that the company was predicted to stop operation from September 3 to September 9.

Due to Changyuan power company in Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone upgrading its system, the company was steam supplier for Nangang Rubber's Zhangjianggang plant.

Nankang Rubber is a wholly-controled subsidairy of Nankang Tire, with 90 million dollars of investment.

Nankang Tire was established in Taiwan in 1959, owning two manufacture bases in Taiwan Xinzhu and Zhangjiagang Jiangsu Province.
Zhangjiagang factory was started to construction since 1997, and put into operation since 2003. Now, the company could produce 2 million units of tire every day.

In the first half year of 2018, Nankang Tire has realized 54,150,000 yuan of gross profit, the company said.
