Launch of Sailun Weifang radial tire project celebrates 100th Anniversary of CPC founding

On June 27th, Sailun Weifang Tire Co., Ltd.'s annual output of 6 million sets of high-performance semi-steel radial tires and 1.5 million sets of high-performance all-steel radial truck tires were officially put into production in Zhucheng Economic Development Zone, Weifang City.

Linglong cited ‘unstable and uncertain’ economic situation due to the repeated surge of Covid overseas as well as China’s focus on ‘accelerating the domestic construction’, as key reasons behind the move.

Sailun Weifang factory is another digital and intelligent modern factory built by Sailun Group relying on the industrial chain collaborative innovation advantages of the National Rubber and Tire Engineering Technology Research Center. The factory will upgrade and transform the original equipment and install new automated, intelligent, and information-based high-end process production lines, and strive to become a first-class modern radial tire production base in terms of manufacturing technology, production management, after-sales service, etc., and promote traditional drivers to be replaced by new ones in tire industry. It will help China's rubber tire manufacturing industry to transform and upgrade to intelligence and high-end.
